A word from Gabi…

Hello Church Family!

I am so excited to announce the next season that the Lord is calling me into! I have been praying and asking God what the next step for me is, and I have always been interested in YWAM. I am going to be attending one of their discipleship training schools in Boston, Massachusetts.

Art has an incredible way to speak to someone’s soul in a way that preaching or teaching can’t - God can use art to break down misconceptions about who He is - breaking down barriers we’ve created for self-preservation.

Using The Creative Arts in Worship. 

Youth with a Mission (YWAM) is one of the biggest international mission organizations in the world and I am so excited to be joining them this Winter. The discipleship training school is a 6 month period focused on growing deeper in your relationship with God, and learning to use creative abilities to spread the message of the gospel. The first half of this school is spent in the classroom, as well as engaging in times of worship, outreach, and development in the elective of my choice. The outreach portion of this school is typically a 8-10 week tour across America, where we perform a multi-media, evangelistic stage production called encounter.
